Leslie Alpha Spradlin Barrilleaux, D.M.D.

A native of Central Kentucky, Dr. Leslie attended Morehead State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She went on to attend the University of Louisville Dental School. During dental school, Dr. Leslie was elected to serve as the President of the National Dental Student Research Organization. She received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine & Master of Science and graduated with Honors from UoL.

After dental school, she continued her post-graduate education and career in dental research. She was awarded a Dental Research Grant from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, to conduct research at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. While in New Orleans, she took courses focused on Dental Prosthetics and got married. In addition, Dr. Leslie has participated in hundreds of hours of advanced study and seminars with distinguished dentistry mentors such as Dr. Pete Dawson, Dr. Frank Spear, and Dr. David Hornbrook. 

A few years later, Dr. Leslie moved to Alabama and began private practice in Scottsboro. During this time, she raised 3 beautiful children! After moving to Huntsville with her family, Dr. Leslie opened the Dentistry Today practice. In 2021, Dentistry Today expanded and Dr. Leslie returned to Jackson County and opened the Scottsboro location. She is well-established in North Alabama with over 25 years of experience providing dental care to adults and children!

An Accredited dentist has successfully completed the comprehensive Accreditation Process, which consists of a written examination, delivering and extensively documenting a broad range of cosmetic treatment solutions for several patients, and an oral examination administered by the AACD Board. By completing this renowned process, an Accredited ​​​Cosmetic Dentist has demonstrated a high level of clinical ability and is recognized as having exceptional proficiency in Cosmetic Dentistry. At present, less than 600 dentists in the country hold this credential. Before her accreditation, patients in Alabama looking for an accredited cosmetic dentist would need to go to Nashville or Atlanta for cosmetic treatment.
